One of our favorite day trips is heading down to Gatlinburg to the Aquarium. We were able to sneak in a trip last weekend and luckily a visit with Uncle Jeffy, Aunt N'omi and cousin Elijah! We met up at Moe's and the boys ran WILD.
The boys always seem to find the Aquarium interesting ... even though they have been a dozen times. This trip Drew discovered a new shark. It looked like a cross between a stingray and a shark, interesting little fellow. Andrew was able to get on the Internet and do some investigating. Turns out the new shark was actually a guitar shark!
Drew loves to ride through the "shark tunnel" and point out which sharks are boys. It is always amusing to watch the adults faces as he yells out "that's a boy!" It is amazing how much he learns ... he is like a little sponge that soaks up everything he hears. With that said we also witnessed a shark poop ... yes I said poop! Of course normal people would find this gross or disgusting. Not two little boys! They thought it was amazing ... the grosser the better!
We had a wonderful time at the aquarium and visiting with family. This is what life is all about!
We had a great time meeting up with you guys for dinner. I especially enjoyed hearing Drew talk about this particular visit to the aquarium. He was definitely excited about the guitar shark. He is one smart little guy for sure!
